This item poses as just an ordinary Surge Protector ! It is actually a fantastic place to hide those things you dont' want people to find or steal. But - you can hide anything that will fit in the can and it deter burglars from finding it.
Concealment devices or diversion safes are used to hide things for the purpose of secrecy or security. They are made from an ordinary household object such as a book, a soda can, a candle, a can, or something as small as a coin. The idea is that such an inconspicuous object would not be expected to contain anything of worth. Also a new form of concealment device, mock cans of various household chemicals or food and drinks can be purchased. A wide variety of commonly used personal care, household products and food containers with removable tops and bottoms are available. Valuables can be discreetly stored inside these look-a-like containers and kept in their seemingly rightful places. Each of these diversion safes are indistinguishable from the genuine product, and can thus avoid detection, and they may even be weighted to feel full..
Although it is not a working surge protector it does have an on/ off switch which glows red just like a real one (requires two AA batteries that are included). Also, you can plug up to six cords into the surge protector and then plug it into a wall outlet (no danger- no electrical current will enter the unit) in order to add to the realism.
The safe compartment measures 6 inches x 2 inches by three-quarter inches. Note that this is not a real surge protector.
